Mortuary Science Program

Transfer Credits

To receive transfer credit for a course within the DMACC Mortuary Science program of study, the following requirements must be met:

• Mortuary Science credit(s) must be earned at an ABFSE accredited institution.

• Mortuary Science credit(s) must be earned no greater than 5 years before beginning the Mortuary Science program at DMACC.

• A maximum of 9 credit hours of Mortuary Science credits can be transferred into the Mortuary Science program.

• All credits within the Mortuary Science program (including the Anatomy, Business Law and Accounting requirements) must have been earned with a C or better. (C- or below will not be considered.)

• If transferring Mortuary Science credit, those credits will not be counterd toward the 64 hour requirement for admission.
