Iowa Law Review Continuing Education Course
Effective July 1, 2007, each person who is licensed as a funeral director in the state of Iowa is required to complete a 2-hour course of continuing education covering Iowa laws & rules related to funeral service.
This training is designed to meet that continuing education requirement for license renewal.
This training consists of a streaming video that allows you to answer questions relating to funeral service prior to completing a quiz which is required for continuing education credit for an online continuing education program. In addition, you may use the links below to create an Iowa Law manual for your reference now and in the future.

You may look at all referenced statutes and rules by linking to the website for the Iowa Board of Mortuary Science Examiners
The review will reference Iowa Code chapters 156, 142C, 144 and 523A.
The review will also reference BMSE Rules 645-99 through 645-105.To find these chapters, go to the BMSE website above and click on the link entitled Laws and Rules. That page will give you instructions for linking to all the statutes and rules above.

Iowa Law Review Quiz:
After completing the video, you may download and complete the quiz found at the link below. You should then mail the completed quiz and the fee payable to the DMACC Mortuary Science Foundation to the address on quiz to receive credit for the continuing education.
